From 26 July, our contractor, Walters, will be creating a highway drainage pond on behalf of Cardiff Council to the west of Herbert March Close to help facilitate the essential infrastructure works taking place along Llantrisant Road.
Walters will start fencing off the area this week (w/c 12th July 2021) in preparation for the works to begin. Pedestrian access along Llantrisant Road will remain in place, and the footpath running through the east of the parkland will remain open for the majority of the drainage works. Updates regarding the closure of the footpath will be posted on our Twitter channel @plasdwr.
To minimise disruption to local residents, Walters will be combining these works with the planned installation of dedicated underground drainage in the same area to serve Plasdŵr developments. We currently expect all work to be complete by the start of October.
