Our contractors are continuing to make progress on the infrastructure works along Clos Parc Radur and Llantrisant Road.
Due to some necessary design changes, the current phase of improvement work is now expected to be complete by summer 2023. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused for local residents, these design changes will raise the level of the road to ensure the layout is as effective as possible.
Llantrisant Road
Currently, there are two sets of two-way traffic management at different points along Llantrisant Road.
1. The western set of lights (heading further up Llantrisant Road) is to facilitate the ongoing infrastructure improvements along Llantrisant Road. These will stay in place until summer 2023 for the remainder of the works at different locations along Llantrisant Road.
2. The eastern set of lights (heading towards Cardiff) is to complete drainage and gas diversion works. The current lights will be in place until the middle of April. They will then be re-installed mid-May and are expected to be in place until the end of May.
Both sets of lights are manually controlled during the morning and evening rush hour periods, and are monitored throughout the day, seven days a week, to minimise any delays.
If there are any emergencies, you can contact the traffic management provider on 01446 781715.
Clos Parc Radur
Our contractors are continuing with the work along Clos Parc Radur, with traffic management currently expected to be in place until the end of April. After April, there will be localised traffic management to complete some minor drainage works and final surfacing works.
We would like to thank residents again for your patience and cooperation. As always, our contractors are working hard to complete the work as quickly as possible.
We will continue to communicate any further updates through our website and Twitter page.
