From today (Monday 13th June), there will be temporary three-way lights installed along Llantrisant Road by the Goitre Fach development.
These will temporarily replace the current, permanent lights and are expected to be in place for the next two weeks.
The traffic management will be in place to allow our contractors to:
- Divert utility services
- Create a new pedestrian crossing
- Improve drainage systems
- Install communication cable ducts
The lights will be in place 24 hours a day and will be monitored during peak times. Once the work has finished, we will return to the permanent traffic management system.
From Wednesday (15th June), temporary, three-way lights will be installed on the Clos Parc Radur and Llantrisant Road junction. These lights will allow our contractors to complete utility diversion works and begin realignment of the new highway.
The traffic management will be operating during off-peak times (between 9:30am – 3pm) and is expected to be in place until Monday 27th June.
