Cwrt Sant Ioan, the latest development at Plasdŵr, has officially launched and is open to the public.
This is the third development at Plasdwr from lead developer Redrow Homes, following their successful launch of Parc Plymouth and Cae St Fagans. Bellway and Lewis Homes have also been announced to start work this year.
Cwrt Sant Ioan will be made up of 71 two, three and four-bedroom houses and apartments with show homes available to view from January 2020.This development sits on a 16.5-acre site to the south of Llantrisant Road bordering Radyr, Danescourt and Fairwater and will be made up of approximately 200 houses.
Plasdŵr has been designed with active travel in mind, with a network of cycle routes running through the development linking Plasdŵr with the rest of Cardiff. The first sections of these new cycle routes will be created through Cwrt Sant Ioan and will eventually link with the Ely and Taff trails.
Plasdŵr Project Director, Wayne Rees, said: “With each new development Plasdŵr’s community continues to come to life. This development will see a variety of homes available and will start to connect all the existing developments together.
“Cwrt Sant Ioan is a key development for Plasdŵr as it will see the beginning of the sustainable transport network which will eventually run through the whole of the community, connecting its five neighbourhoods.”
Sian Smith, Area Sales Manager at Redrow South Wales, said: “We’re thrilled to be releasing our next development at Plasdŵr and welcoming visitors to the site.
“The two neighbouring developments, Parc Plymouth and Cae St Fagans, have proved to be extremely popular amongst homebuyers with residents already praising the excellent location and looking forward to being part of the Plasdŵr community, which will continue to take shape over the next approximately 20 years.”
